Can I receive replies?
Yes, you can receive replies. Access your inbox to see the replies, or set up a new inbox by purchasing a custom reply number of your choice. A reply number is classified by the length of the long code number which may be a short code 56565 or a 10 digit virtual mobile number (VMN / DID). You may set up unlimited keywords – inboxes as you wish with dedicated reply numbers, whereas a shared reply number allows you to set up one inbox on the keyword you have chosen.
How can I receive SMS online?
Using an inbound text number (Long code) or shortcode service, you can receive text messages from anyone. It’s free for you to receive the message and only costs the customer their standard network cost. All messages will appear in your Inbox, you can also automate tasks like sending SMS, Email or Webhook Calls.
What is a keyword?
A keyword is a custom ID you decide to share it with your customers. The message must start with the keyword so the SaleSquared identifies the message and routes to the relevant person’s inbox.
Can I receive text messages as an email?
All inbound message sent to Inbox can be automatically forwarded to you via email. This is free.
How do I see my received messages?
Go to your Conversations -> Inbox either in the web portal or mobile app to access all the incoming messages. This inbox works just like your SMS/Email inbox.
What is the cost of receiving replies?
Receive a reply SMS is offered free in SaleSquared. However, if you require a custom or dedicated KEYWORD you will be charged.
Does a Dedicated Inbound Number need a keyword?
No one other than you uses your Dedicated Long Code Number, so no keyword is required, although you can create keywords within your Inbox for various SMS marketing campaigns if you want.
Can you forward a message I receive to my number as SMS?
Of course, we can automatically forward inbound messages to your handset as SMS. This costs 1 message credit.
